Product Description
These plastic Finger Castanets are colorful, safe, fun and great sounding! Once you get the hang of holding these in your upturned palms and snapping them shut with your fingers, you'll have a hard time putting them down.

5 out of 5 stars Great for Pre-K and even younger.   November 15, 2007

I use these for teaching music in preschools. The kids absolutely love them.
It's perfect for hand/eye coordination and they love the click sounds it makes. I love that it's plastic so it's difficult to break. It's a great way to introduce children to a unique instrument and have fun exploring with it.

5 out of 5 stars Great for Toddlers and Reasonable Price   August 12, 2007

I bought 6 pairs and I'm happy with them. I'm teaching my daughter (3.3 y.o.) rhythm and she enjoys making sounds with them. (She immediately learned the word, "castanet", too.) I use castanets for a circle time when I have playgroup/playdate for my daughter.

I have an expensive set of musical instruments as well; but, you don't need to spend a lot of money to introduce music (rhythm) to toddlers. I take my daughter to a music class and learned that most toddlers enjoy simple musical instruments like castanets.

Even after kids grow up you can still play the "Simon Said" rhythm game using the castanets. They are very affordable and great musical instruments.

This little plastic guys do just what they are supposed to. Order a half dozen or so and everyone can "click" away together.

My daughter wanted castanets for Christmas and we ordered online - there was no choice in color (I would have preferred pink for her). She got blue ones, she still loves them and plays with them often.
